yes, for insurance to cover your breast pump, you do need a prescription. If you are not using insurance to buy your breast pump, you do not need a prescription.
Your insurance coverage depends on the pump you select. Some of the pumps we carry do have an out of pocket upgrade cost. There are also pumps that are 100% covered by insurance.
